HOLY CRAP.
It was unlike Kuroko to panic, but thirty minutes prior, he lost [Name]. At Seirin freaking Highschool. One moment, the five year old girl was in the gymnasium, sitting on the bench and handing him his towel. And in the next, she was gone. Nowhere to be seen. He could only think of what to tell her parents when it was time to get her home. Gee, I took your daughter with me to practice, Mrs. [Surname], and I kind of lost her...
"[Name]-chan, please come out..." he called out.
Kuroko had convinced the basketball team to help him look around the campus for the little girl. He ran up the stairs to the second and third floor, checked every single freaking classroom, and when he couldn't find her, he ran back down to the first floor. He met up with Kagami at the shoe lockers, completely out of breath.
The heat of the afternoon wasn't helping either.
"Can't find her," Kagami breathed, sweat running down his forehead.
Even with a calm expression on the outside, Kuroko was freaking out way too much on the inside. He was sure he would never lose sight of that [h/c] haired head in that cute Puella Magi Madoka Magica t-shirt. So where the hell was she? He decided to try retracing his steps and running back up the stairs to look again, but Kagami stopped him with one hand and pointed in the direction of the gym.
"Kagami-kun, what is it?" he asked.
Kagami sweat dropped. "Look over there, moron."
When Kuroko looked to where the red head pointed, he saw [Name] struggling to stick her change into one of the vending machines and a relieved smile surfaced his face. He jogged toward the small girl, with his arms held open. She looked up when he called her name, and her face brightened immediately.
"Tetsu-nii!" she yelled happily, flailing her arms at him.
Kuroko placed his gentle hands on her shoulders and faked a slight frown. "I've been looking all over for you, [Name]-chan."
"Sorry! I just wanted juice, but I really love Testu-nii a lot!"
